I am continuously inspired and fascinated by the human body, natural landscapes, story telling and music which act as catalysts in my training, movement, visions and work. I have a keen interest in the cultural and political stance dance can have and make on personal and societal levels as well as investigating and understanding movement in literal and abstract realms. 

From a young age I saw value in being a versatile dancer and found power in translating my life experiences and knowledge to fuel my artistic journey. A journey that is forever changing and morphing. My journey has led me to train and dance across Australia, Asia, Canada and the US. I now focus that power in lifting up young and emerging dancers through education. Arts education is a serious passion of mine.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and a Diploma of Education, majoring in Dance and minoring in Health. In addition I have my Certificate IV in Assessment and Training.

My professional dance industry experience has granted me continuous opportunities for music videos, commercials and print campaigns, live shows and corporate events. Some names and brands like Therabody, RAC, Macklemore, Ralph, Jessica Mauboy, My Foodie Box & Revelations Film Festival. The longevity of my dance career has been fostered by my professional standard, continuous learning and practice and high quality of work. 

 

Alongside dance education and industry work, I run SK Wedding Dances. My small business that aims to bring your wedding dance vision come to life.
